And you find this surprising ? These are the same people that gave us the 30 and 34 hour rule. Only one of which has been suspended.

Everyone has been saying it was coming. About time, level the playing field. If your afraid of elogs then do something else. Then rates can raise up to and past old rates and I can make more money.

Whoever wrote this piece of BS better hope like hell that nobody gets tired and runs their stupid #### over. It's a matter of driving when you are physically and mentally at your best, versus what the regulations say you can or can't do. I rarely sleep more than 6 or 7 hours, so what am I supposed to do with the other 4 hours mandated by idiots? A prime example of one size fits none in my book. Take away all flexibility and then squawk at the industry for not being more productive. My blood pressure is going up so I better jump off my soap box...

ever haul live stock where you can not stop for 10 hours or if you do it has to be somewhere with hay and water that someone has to pay for. imagine loading and unloading your truck every 10 hours. the cost of meat is going to go up again

I bet you're in favor of spy cams and slow trucks and more of whatever they can come up with to make the job harder. I've never ever had a problem with the law in over 30 years of paper logs, so why should elogs be any better or easier? Just makes another excuse for not having to think. Let somebody else tell you what, where, when, and how and then do the paperwork for you? Nope

Do like me, split sleeper berth. I can't sleep 6 hours.

Livestock haulers have different rules. You can sit up elogs for all the different rules in the U.S. And Canada.
