Forget the flatbed, go to Old Dominion and apply, bug em till they hire you. Get a good job making more money than you'll ever dream making with Maverick with benefits and retirement. It's a truck, pulling a trailer. If you want tanker, look at the fuel haulers. You'll be hone daily with a good paycheck and a 5 day work week...may or may not be home weekends starting out. Turnover is high enough in just about any trucking company that there is a spot open almost all the time and it generally doesn't take long to snag the run you prefer.
You have the experience, get the endorsements and make the most of it. Don't short change yourself. You deserve that 70-90k LTL job every bit as much as anyone else. You are qualified and they are looking for good help. -

You have the benefit of living close to a large city...lots of good driving jobs. Do your research and pick the job you want, then go after it like a dog after a boneYou've got what you need to get it. Good luck to ya!
PS: always, always think about the long term stuff 401k, insurance, personal savings, etc. You'll be really happy about that one day.runhard Thanks this.
