US 287 closed

    US 287 is closed due to snow from stratford on through to I 70 in Colorado.. when it will reopen isnt known. the fellow in the dot truck didn't say.

    hmm what to do

    Wow, they normally just plow it real quick and let drivers take it from there. Not seen that one closed in a while.

    I shot out of Colorado and down into Texas like an egg thru a hen! 20151116_163910.jpg Had this to deal with getting out but apparently it was a good decision.

    i asked the fellow in the truck he said it was snow. tried calling road coditions it didnt work.. huh

    It hammered me from Fort Collins all the way up over Raton Pass. But I ran away from it as soon as I cut east.

    70 is closed from Denver to Kansas last time I looked, and they were saying it was highly likely that KS would close it too

    Definitely a good decision Cotton.
    Currently I'm stuck at the Burlington Fairgrounds. HP escorted all the trucks from the highway and had us park here.
    70 east is shutdown from the Kansas border to about the 76 yardstick.
    Worst part is no one seems to know when they're gonna let us get rolling again.
