Ya I know , that's everyone's reaction but Can't put a price on safety .
They really are extremely nice lights., once you have them you'll never go back to anything else. -
I just put on some truck lite Headlights and I don't think I can go back. The only concern I have is there's a hot spot in the center.

Problem may be your fuse panel has too much resistance. We had a similar problem with our 2001 with hot relays and eventually led to having no power at all (same dead battery thing you are describing). The power wire going into the panel from the firewall was corroded. You may have to move a few things like your windshield washer bottle to get access to the panel from the firewall. Unhook the connections and spray some corrosion killer spray or make you own mix of baking soda and water. Second we removed all fuses and relays and cleaned (sprayed) the entire panel from the inside also. We noticed right away that there was a difference . The voltmeter in the truck was off before at 12.5V - 13V when the battery tester was showing 13.8V - 14V at the batteries. After the clean up everything was on par and we had bright lights again and no heat.

Problem solved!
I bought a set of high/low led headlights. Ran them for 15 minutes and the fuse and relay were still cold.
Thanks for the suggestions. -
BAM!!!!
There ya go, glad we could help.
Yup some those after market high power halogens draw alot juice.
Been there done that. You probley had 100 watts of draw per side , no wonder everything getting hot.
Those leds you got now probley only draw 4 or 5 watts. Huge diffrence.flatbeb mac Thanks this. -
Need to wire relays into the headlamp circuit, take the load off of the breaker.
