25 was a mess, trucks turned all over at the Wyo state line... 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie is closed. Winds were ridiculous today.

Sounds like a normal fall day in Wyoming.
-
i don't know Fajo, there isn't usually multiple flipped over trucks. I guess those drivers thought they knew better and said screw the wind warnings..

On another note, Alot of us run these roads on a reg basis, What I have learned is just because the road is "Open" does not always been you should take it. Newer generations seem to not pay attention to the weather radio or any other signs, unless the #### thing is blocked they just go oblivious to whats ahead.
-
Actually, Ya there normally is and its normally a row of them, There is one corner in there that the wind hits just right and knocks them all over at once. The problem is no one EVER learns, happens often when the winds kick up. Again the problem is no one ever checks road conditions ahead of them, Or they get the supertrucker attitude that they cant be beat.

I'm plugging away up on 30 with my empty cow trailer.
Fajo Thanks this. -
yeah, today showed many thought they could beat the wind. One fool flipped southbound, ended up in the left hand northbound lane... all they did was drag the carcass across the lane to the NB shoulder. It will be a busy and profitable day for wreckers and the fines given out.
