I had the same exact question.
He saw the price and thought he got a good deal. Just like any other sucker wanting to be an owner op and save money from the get go. We bought 4 internationals from slc on a good deal it was either two volvos or 4 prostars...... You can only imagine how the next two years went with those prostars lol. Needless to say they aren't in existence anymore only one is because it got a cummins swap now.

This post was not created to explain the decisions I've made, but to keep prospective drivers informed of my experiences at Indian River. Thanks

Orientation was completed at home online. Takes about 5 hours give or take. I will not need a physical because i just had one. Their policy is if you have had one within the last 6 months you're ok however, I will need a drug test and it will be done here at a clinic close to home. I will be running out of Clovis NM and will be reporting there Tue 23rd for road test and finish up details. I could be there earlier but I chose Tue. ($300.00 will be paid for orientation) I can fly, bus, or rent a car. They will reimburse for flight to apply to car rental. Should be dispatched that evening.

Decided not to go with IRT afterall. Going back to Johnsrud where I get paid for ALL I do.
mountaingote Thanks this. -
I think you made a good choice staying away from IRT. And a very very good choice staying away from Clovis, NM ... that place sucks.
If you want to make good money hauling tank ... get into the HAZMAT side, food grade does not pay. -
