    Looking for accurate load pay for hauling fly ash? Saw a post that guy was getting $29 per ton.. Will be leasing onto a company so just curious as to what to expect..

    I use to talk to the guys that brought it to our plant in Arizona ( Phoenix ) from Tucson or Kingman. They all made 1000 to 1200 week as company drivers in day cabs.

    29 a ton isn't bad if you can scale 25 tons. It also depends on if it's local or something longer

    Thanks I'm about to embark on OO leasing on to company running fly ash so just getting as much info as possible..I'm assuming your in that field?

    Couple companies available..If I join on with Alamo Cement I will be pulling out of the plant in San Antonio off Green Mountain. If I join with sunset I am not aware of where there plant is besides being in new braunfels tx

    For cement, Cemex in New Braunfels pays a higher rate per ton than Alamo does. I'm not sure how TXI, Capital, or Texas Lehigh compare.


    In general, fly ash pays a lower rate than cement.

    Unless things have changed in the last several years, you'd have to lease on to a carrier, b/c I don't think they lease O/Os directly.
