Western Express pay

I called them last year with a couple years flatbed experience and was offered .31 cpm that was a 11 cent cut from where I was at the time.

 

Is this current as of NOW?

 

no that was back in 2013 pay has gone up since then.

 

It seems like so. The average starting pay is .30cpm. The 12cpm reimbursed is your per diem, non taxable.

From what Ive heard from other WE drivers, WE payroll is the seed of corruption. They are not in par with the other management and does not know the rule of "all miles driven while on duty must be paid".

This WE driver was parked next to me and he was packing his things up lol. He said that he was running around Maine looking for an empty, drove about 250 miles and did not get paid for it. So my 2 cents is u wont get paid for the miles driven unless your under a load, and miles driven to get an empty is non compensetable. Hell, I guess this is the reason WE is in hot water for violating the law.

 

Its wierd because ive been getting paid for all my miles maybe 20 to 30 less then actual but still decent for a start in a career. I manage to bring home decent pay after bills and child support rapes me and everytime ive asked to get home they have gotten me home within 2 loads with atleast 3 days off
