    I guess I'm used to the rude people, have been dealing with them my whole life. The roads were not set up for trucks or even cars in some spots. A lot of roads and buildings were made in horse and carrage days, so getting trucks in can be tricky. But the surface street layout is very simple. Almost all if them are laid out in a north/south, east/west grid, so it is very easy to find your way around.

    [QUOTE="Hick, post: 4914349, member:

    My last trip up there I saw a car flipping his lights and giving the finger to a gravel truck who was in the left lane. The truck driver stopped and was getting out right in the middle of the road to have a friendly chat with his new buddy... but I didn't get to see the outcome of that.

    It is what it is. Chicago ain't for me.[/QUOTE]

    I once had a guy in a pickup cut me off so hard he almost hit my front bumper. I blew the horn, he got out screaming and swearing and grabbed a large pipe out of the back of his pickup then walked twords me. But he moved pretty quick when I drove right at him, got back in his truck and left.
    Is this type of thing unique to Chicago? I assumed it was normal, I encounter it every once in a while, even in a car.

    you folks in Chi-Town are just angry because your weather sucks but you still have to deal with LA style traffic. All of the downsides and none of the upsides. Shoot id be pulling pipes on people too.

    I like the traffic when I am working. Traffic means overtime and I like that time and a half after 40. Makin good money to move 10 feet a minute.

    Just curious, other than the warm weather. What exactly are the upsides of LA? I am not judging since I have never been there, but I have heard bad things.

    it also makes it a lot easier to look down womens blouses going 1 mph. So youre paid to basically sit in a parking lot and check out chicks. Good times.

    The actual city los angeles proper sucks. Its basically become a slightly more civilized version of Mexico. I avoid talking to most people there because they are just going to try to talk to me in spanish. But people love Southern California because of the weather and beaches (that most people hardly ever go to anyways). I was just messing with you i mostly hate it here too but im stuck here if i want to see my daughter. If it were up to me id be somewhere in The South or Texas.

    If it's a cascadia I've broken the plastic support behind bumper as well backing up to dock through heavy snow it's built pretty cheap .. I started laughing when boss said bumper just fell off till I got out and saw one side dragging.. Easy fix though only a few bolts holding supports
