2004 Freightliner blower fan issue. HELP!!

Those unmarked fuses in the relay slot were the issue with the cabin fan. However my problem with the AC still persists. The AC clutch works intermittently, usually when I just start the truck it works then stops after a couple of minutes or less. It is some kind of a power issue, when I hardwire the compressor directly to the alternator the clutch works fine, and the ac blows cold air into the cabin. I rechecked all the fuses and relays, all of them are good and I filled up the system with freon.
This all started after I had to replace the leaking ac hose that goes from the compressor to the condenser. Also the dash trows up an error code now: 146S010 12

Next step maybe replacing the blower resistor, even tho the fan works good on all speeds. Im not sure what controls the AC compressor, are there any sensors or thermostats? Which could be burnt out and are getting a wrong reading causing the compressor to shut off? Or a valve sticking?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

 

my plug to the fan was in the process of melting creating the problem you are describing as well.

 

The blower motor has a built in speed regulator that must receive a signal from the heater control panel or it won't run. Most likely it's your harness between the control panel, the HVAC box and the blower. Specifically the blower plug, which you can't get separately. After I had fully replaced two harnesses, I gave up and now cut the plug end off the new ones and butt connect them to the old one VS having to tear down the dash every time. They last me eighteen months on the average.

Sounds like low pressure switch located on top of air drier or maybe the wire to or from it that goes to compressor. Worth checking out
