Thanks drozzer69 that's what I believe I was doing to myself---rushing, trying to learn it all in a day, focusing on WM driving principles, paperwork, entering what and when. My head was on a swivel most of the day. Today was better, but I need a good routine and I do bombard my trainer with questions, sometimes the same ones over, and over, and over. He's really patient thank goodness. I'll ask here and other drivers and my coordinator as well thanks for your help.

Wow Ron I haven't driven for a company that used computers in nearly 10 years Idk if that's gonna be good or bad. I am glad however to hear today went better. Are you putting lots of miles on? Or lots of stops? I say let your coordinator drive and you taker notes lol

 

Thanks Joey, I'm getting a pretty good mix of miles and activity and I think that your not having to use a computer is an advantage because you won't have to unlearn anything and you can move forward, the computer inputs at my former employer were quite simplistic to say the least and here it seems a bit more complex and I need to overcome my tendencies and I will.

 

In a couple of weeks, the complexity will become very simple.

 

Ok thanks Ron, are you sleeping in the truck? Sorry for all the questions buddy but your "IN rite now so your rite there and I'm even reading Matt's first 2 weeks from over 2 years ago. I'm just trying to get a "feel"for what to expect when my day comes. I should be in the next class Monday the 30th but my current company is screwing me and not sending in Wal-Mart's request for my driving history.

No problem at all with the questions and sorry to hear that about what your present company is doing, as though that would make you stay. No my trainer and I have been staying in a hotel, but we're back in Lagrange so I'm in a hotel, but my trainer opted to sleep in the truck.
