    I've been a owner operator for classic carriers for a little over a month. I'm already looking for a new job because there dispatchers suck. I've been sitting here in my truck in NJ for 23 hours now waiting for them to find me a load. They will not pay me for any of my layover pay..

    Sounds like poor planning on both parties. Did the long holiday weekend sneak up on you? It pretty much comes around every year.
    Why did you take the load, knowing this would probably happen.
    Just a heads up: Christmas weekend will probably be the same, as will New Years.
