    No need to be nervous, if it's the same guy the doe's their orientation (can't remember his name) but he's pretty laid back and will help you in any way he can, even after orientation, he will give you his card and you can call him for advise, best of luck, Melton is a great company

    Which section of the green book do I need to read and study on? I'm looking through but am not sure what I'm looking for!

    Not sure what green book your talking about?, are you a rookie driver? Maybe they provide different things pending experience? I did receive a blue drivers hand book, but have to admit, didn't look to much into it, been driving 27 years as of next month, sorry can't help with this question

    Not the green book, which is the Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Pocketbook, but the Cargo Securement Handbook for Drivers. This is a spiral bound book you can find in some truck stops. It is published by J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc.

    Found a copy of that for free online. Sneaker, I'm looking at that now.

    Make sure to check your load 50 miles, 100 miles and 150 there after I believes. been awhile. Becare go thru
    I-95 North or South going from Jersey to New York. That is one bumpy ride. It loose up your securement quickly. Maybe I was doing it wrong when I just start out flatbeder.

    Its 50 miles then every 150 or 3 hours.
