Running with JCT, Part Deux

The Sysco in Riviera Beach, Fl was easy to deal with. Got a door right at 6am and was out at 0730. Drove down to the Sysco in Medley, Fl (arrived around 0930) and as usual it took almost two hours standing in line to check in with the receiving clerk. Took another hour and half to unload 5 pallets. I refuse to park at that Pilot that is there on U.S 27 in Medley. I don't like parking on the narrow streets in the area around Sysco, so, I sent a Mac47 to logs saying that I am moving to park at safe location. Drove to Seminole Travel Center north of Medley on U.S. 27.

The price of parking went up from $10 to $15, but still a way better option than parking in the Miami area. Also, on site trailer washout.

 

Well sitting here at the motel. Bored outta my mind. Desk clerk stated that there were going to be a bunch of us this round. We'll see.. Hope you all are safe out there in the ugly weather..

 

Yep getting to be where you want to avoid 80 and even 40 til mother nature gets her meds again.

It was... not anymore though. Mostly the back up are 4 wheelers to scared to do more than 50 just Cuz it's 32 degrees... even with a dry road. Smh

Oh there was ice yesterday. They had 40 shut down from Santa Rosa to Tucumcari. Then Amarillo area was a travel advisory due to ice. There's quite a bit of carnage out there from all of it.

I came through there during the rough patch. I always try and drive between 2000 and 0600. I saw 5 semi roll overs between okc and Santa rosa. There was one spot where two semi rolled next to each other. It was a mess.

 

Did you see the 5th wheel trailer split open? That was a hellofa mess there.
