Walmart here I come!

Property tax time unfortunately

 

Orientation and a week with my mentor are complete. I am on the extra board and my gate time is 12 noon on Thurs and I will be out on my own for the first time. I'm excited and nervous all rolled into one.

You survived! That gives me hope Ron lol! Congratulations you had me worried there in the beginning buddy, glad to hear all is good on the home front now. I'm watching you buddy I hope it all goes well for you and you have all these guys here to help you out next week,I think you'll be fine your just a very conscientious worker and that's a good thing don't worry about too much till be ok!

 

the bonus money ain't free as you are out there doing your job, etc... but as far as getting it, pretty easy as just doing your job...wait, what?!! No weird mpg clauses or the like, but remember, easy to lose, so pay attention out there.

After classroom orientation week is complete, do you go out right away with the mentor or do a restart on the hours?

 

Thanks a lot Joey. I had myself worried there at the beginning, but my understanding of what to do grew each day that I was out with my trainer. I'm not over confident as to believe I'm a seasoned WalMart driver or anything, I'll be a little slower than most and thinking everything through until it becomes second nature to me, but I am ready for the challenge and I'm very much looking forward to it. I will update my progress as I go.

Thanks Ron, my current company is the only company not forwarding my driving history I mean Wth I've only been here 3 months and no accidents ugh!

 

Thanks Demi, show time it is and I've got a family counting on me to be safe and successful and on top of the fact that I am now a WalMart driver, something I've wanted to be since early on in my 15 year driving career I am grateful and humbled to be here because there are a lot of drivers who wished that they were where I am now...I won't take that for granted.
