Walmart here I come!

That's a shame what your current company is doing to you and really it doesn't seem all that legal for them to do so. You must have made a pretty good impression on them in the short time that you've been with them cause they seem to be really clinging to you and unwilling to let you go.

 

Thanks Ron, I missed today's orientation class, there's one more for Pottsville on the 14th of December I'm pretty upset I missed today's but I'm trying to keep it together.

 

Contact the person who does the job verification's by phone and ask for their e mail address, send them a short note requesting that they send your job verification.

 

I know how that feels, missing your orientation and all, my background investigation was mixed up and that set me back a whole month and just when it got fixed the group I was supposed to start with went ahead without me but WM still did me a solid in getting me into orientation solo and they asked me, "you didn't want to wait another month to start did you?" and no I didn't want to wait another second, so to some small degree I feel your pain but hang in there because your time is definitely coming.

 

Thanks, apparently my company told Wal-Mart via email they would send it Wednesday morning(this was last Tuesday) the girl in Wal-Mart transportation said she's off Wed thru Friday but she'll check her email but till now I've heard nothing. I hate to push but I'm only trying to be proactive at the chance of driving for a TERRIFIC company. I called the Wal-Mart transportation girl just now and she's gonna call me back asap when she's finds out if it was faxed while she was out last week

Joey you will be so glad when you actually start and all of this is behind you it will most assuredly be worth all of the time and energy that you have invested into becoming a WalMart driver and none of this that you are going through will even matter. You're gonna like it here.

 

I really appreciate that Ron, that is so encouraging! That being said I just approached my boss in his office and asked him straight out, "has anyone faxed you information regarding my work history?" And wouldn't you know it, there it is sitting on his desk!!! He was honest and straight forward that he didn't want to lose me but I wanted to clobber the guy over the head lol, so we talked about it and he faxed it rite in front of me just now so I'm just gonna do my dance and wait now......

 

I figured that they were clinging to you a bit but they shouldn't try and stand in your way of advancing unless they were willing to pay you upwards of 6 figures annually and to change their culture to mirror that of Wal-Mart's in an attempt to keep you there?

 

Ya know I would've never imagined anyone being that disingenuous to another human being moreover to a Good employee. Just when you thought you've seen it all, BAM RITE IN THE KISSER!
