Is this thread about Bridger Logistics? Because Google shows Bridger Transportation as a general freight hauler, whereas Bridger Logistics hauls oil. I'd just like to clarify, because I am looking for intel on the Bridger that hauls oil in the Bakken of North Dakota.
I am a company driver hauling oil in the Bakken field of western North Dakota for a small carrier. I have good friend who signed with Bridger as an owner operator. He said Bridger forced all their company drivers to either sign a lease or take a lay off. He signed a lease. He was getting 2 loads per day 6 days a week. He was hoping to get out of it before he got hit with the expense of a major repair, and apparently he has since he quit recently. Time will tell if he gets collection letters for tires and whatever else they can think of.
Drivers who get burned by any carrier ought to post a complaint with ripoffreport dot com. I always check there to see what I can learn about a carrier when I am job searching.Drivers beware Thanks this. -
Working for Bridger as we speak. Been here since June of this year. Working in the Artesia New Mexico area. It was bad ### when I started but I'd say wishing the past two weeks it went to ####. First of all there cutting rates by at least 10% they say. But it's actually more. And second of all. They lost about 80 percent of oxy leases. So now you have 4 guys fighting for the same loads. I'm not signing the new contract so I'm turning in my truck either Friday or Monday. Now for the headache of what there gonna wanna charge me for.dukeofearl Thanks this. -
Julz, who took over the Oxy stuff?

Knew things were getting real slow with Bridger even over here in Midland, just haven't really seen any other companies picking up where they left off. It's like the oil just disappeared.

Indeca Energy picked up most of Pecos Oxy leases

Hey folks, just signed up. I want some real input on working and leasing on with bridger. I know all about the lease prices on truck and trailer. Im due for orientation on the 28th. I understand tbat oil field is slow. I was just let go from Twin Eagle. Been with those guys for over a year and half. I learned great things there one being watch your back lol. Anyway its been a blessing in desgise. My stress has gone way down so what im after is , how are things going in the Conroe area. I was told by kyle the recruiter that they just bought out south c&c and have all these leases to take care of. Also, being how it was slow for TE ive had to dip in the nest egg money for a while. I would only have 3k to cover my @## until the 23rd of feb. They give a fuel card. Is there intrest on that ? Kyle was unclear on that. Any real time info would be most helpfull. I love hauling crude. I dont want to do anything else. Im not saying i wont because i have a family so the paychecks cant stop. Thanks in advance !

The best thing you'll ever do is leave now while you're still ahead. If you this may verge on being the biggest mistake you'll ever make by signing with Bridger. Just read some of the posts in this thread and think it out for yourself.
I have seen first hand how that company operaterates. They lure inexperienced hands in like you you with promises and rainbows. For a couple months it all good. Then they start to choke out your loads while your still making your 7k/month payment on a USED truck and trailor. Next thing you know your broke and go to quit you owe them 13k for repairs that were there when you signed the contract.
I know your gonna do what you wanna do, but really I'd find something better. Good luck. Have fun. Believe in miracles.
Luke628 and FishOrCutBait Thank this.
