I would set-up my own exercise program for troubled areas. I have arthritis throughout my body on top of other problems so pain is no stranger to me. I would sit straight up and look down at the ground and hold it for a count of 5. Then I'd move over to my left and hold it for 5. Go back and then to the right. You do that exercise for a count of 5 then move on to something else. Or you can download your own program just make sure you are exercising the same for a time. Most you can do right there in the driver seat. I would do like we did back in the Navy and do the PT three times a week. After awhile your pain should be gone.
