Throw it away and get a Briggs & Stratton

Why would i do that? Lol

Then you'd have way more power and reliability

11.1 and 12.7 are the same motor with a different stroke and rods so same reliability as a 12.7 which is outstanding as history has proven. I can generally do an Inframe for 9k on a series 60 pre egr. You can replace the bearings and races on the bull hear for 200 or get a reman bull gear for 900. Reman injectors for 215 a piece and a turbo for 575 all reman stuff that I generally use. New dampener 400

I think the big warner 171701 is a good choice for this motor.

Thank guys. Mountaingote must be a cat guy. Haha.
I was figuring around 13000. But this is helpful.

I am telling you what I do it for with an aftermarket Inframe kit and reman head. If you want genuine Detroit it will certainly be more. I have had no issues with the aftermarket kits and that's for all engines I have used them on, cat cummins Detroit dt466. Zero issues so I save a little that way

I understand that.

I have a 11.1 they are great engines. I.M.O better than the 12.7 I had inframe on mine for $6800 plus tax. my b/w turbo was $570 that was new no core.direct replacement. off e-bay from bayside parts. when I had my work done there was a lot of other things that brought the cost up, but I wanted everything that was looked at to replaced if it needed it, hoses, belts, e.t.c.
Rock 'n Roll Relocater Thanks this.
