Misclassification of intermodal driver

What are you expecting to get out of a court case? Find another job... Simple solution

 

What I'm trying to say is you have nothing invested with this company but a couple of weeks, it maybe different if you had worked for them years and then all the sudden they did this to you. Cut your losses and move on... Most places before benefits or anything start is 90 days anyways...The people that's been there 2 years let them fight the battle.

I'll make this simple, they screwed you by forcing you from an employee to a IC. Which what my lawyer said to me is not just illegal but actually unethical.

Start with contacting the state and filing a compliant and then contact the federal dol and ask them if they could also take a complaint. But be prepared to be fired.

If you don't want to do that, get another job, you don't have to give notice but you can file for unemployment if you were employed for the 2 years you stated.

 

He said 3 weeks not 2 years, others at the company have worked 2 years

 

What would a lawyer know about ethics? Buncha scumsuckers

 

Get out now I know you feel for your fellow drivers but run if you run others will follow in a few weeks after you leave you can get a lawyer most look at a case before charging anything and wont charge till they win get out
