I asked my shop guy if I should go with aftermarket kit. he said he had bad experience with 2 on detroits. since he was the one doing the work, I told him to do what he thinks is best. the last thing I wanted was for something to fail & then him tell me...) well You wanted aftermarket so it's not under warranty). his parts, his labor under his full warranty. there is a post on here somewhere some one bought aftermarket injectors I think from mcbee & got a used inj a abvious core instead of reman inj. I myself would not trust aftermarket in something I planned on keeping. but if your shop will give same warranty, then yeah go for it.
