I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore, but good luck to you !

Food for thought, whom ever you find, make sure you know that person extremely well, and your personalities match, being stuck in a truck 24/7, I've seen team drivers jump out of trucks and start fist fighting, why team? You can make as much as a solo as you can team, in my opinion! teaming just ain't worth it, more peaceful on down time, no need to ask to stop to use a restroom, but best of luckHighway Sailor and Giuseppe Ventolucci Thank this.

You make me team with someone, the pay better reflect SUBSTANTIALLY worse working conditions. As in, I'd better be making $80k a year, because $20k for the hassle of sharing a truck is the MINIMUM I would even think of accepting.
You have to ask someone else to stop every time you need to take a dump. You have to share a space smaller than people share on a SUBMARINE. You have to put up with someone else's odious habits from nose-picking to excessive masturbation. And he has to put up with YOURS, on both sides, without complaint.
This is so hard to do that I would advise married couples to think twice about it. To do it with a complete stranger, figure it's not going to work more than 4 months even if he's a great guy.
I had a trainer that I got along great with. If I was going to team with anyone, it would be Paul. But we were BOTH very happy to have me getting out of his truck after 4 1/2 weeks. We talk a couple times a week. We're friends. He's a great guy. But close quarters like that taxes ANY relationship.bottomdumpin Thanks this. -
It's common sense from day one; just weird to spend all that time alone with another dude you don't know and it's not family.
I couldn't do it again unless it was one of my bros in flesh or buddy -
being compatible helps a bunch, rolling from point a to point b c d is quicker. teams may get loads with more miles in rush rush mode. hos can be hassle free.
the truck is always moving,
its not about who gets more miles its about team work.. I prefer solo -
You got that right

are you a driver?if so check out the billboard in the drivers lounge.also truck stops have billboards usually they're located near the entrance .then there are companies that only hire teAMS and will find you someone to team with.but you are taking a chance when you dont know the person.
