need help with a spreadsheet

Well...which program do you have? Basically what you need to do is 'program' each cell for the input type you want. You can open your spreadsheet program to a 'new' page, and then 'right click' on one of the cells to see the possible ways to program each one. If I get time tonight I will make you a sample one so you can see what I mean. It's almost dinner time right now, but I will take a look at it after while and see what I can come up with.

Or use Libre Office or Open Office.

Both are open source and are totally free and are 99.9% compatible with MS Office and they both work nearly identical to MS Office products. I use Libre Office and I can import and export documents into and out of Office with zero issues.

 

Tell you what.....

Get me the document from your company that lists the mileage / weight rates or just list all the variables and I can get a sheet up and going for you, but I need to know EXACTLY what ever single variable is.
