    Looking to go local soon, coming up on my 1 year of experience could anybody give some advice on some good companies in and around the greensboro, nc area please

    Thing to do is drive around and apply.you'll find many that doesn't advertise but always looking for good drivers.

    I agree, a lot of times the better a company is the less the advertise. People come to them so they not have to look for people.

    YRC Holland in Greensboro:Qualified Drivers should have:
    •Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsement
    •Minimum one year or 50,000 miles verifiable driving experience in the most recent 5 years
    •Operating similar type equipment
    •No major accidents in the last 3 years
    •No DUI/DWI in the last 3 years

    Appreciate it. So @Chinatown which sector of local would have the best schedule. Is fuel hauling hard?

    I havent done fuel, only chemicals and dry bulk cement. They were easy, but hauling fuel to gas stations is a different animal. Check that Jacobus job.

    Hauling fuel you have to hustle. I personally didnt like it considering i can do different work, in a WAY more laid back, less rushed environment and make the same money or more.
