There are quite a few videos on that site complaining about trucks on the 53, what is going on in that area that is drawing these trucks off the major freeway and onto these smaller roads?
I live in Phx and never get up that way.
TOO MANY TRUCKS?

It's California, they are not normal there. Normal as the rest of the country would see it. Opps, my bad but then the Chicago area is just a tiny bit better than CA.

It's Illinois, just so.west of chicago, a lot of cornfields are being commercialized and a huge rail yard.

My sarcasm is aimed at the absurdity of the statement. Regardless what type of vehicle one is operating, one should always look both left and right at any intersection for any thing that is crossing said intersection, a truck, a car, a pedestrian, a bicyclist, a soccer ball being pursued by a kid, etc...RustyBolt Thanks this.

They can't "take back their roads". That doesn't make any sense. Looks like they need to lower the speed limits and have more red light enforcement. I'll bet their taxes aren't going where they should. Or the taxes are going where they should, but they aren't getting what they're paying for. Or maybe, just maybe, they do what everyone in the whole world does when big industry moves into your neighborhood. Move somewhere else. You moved to that area because it was quiet and peaceful. Now there's trucks everywhere and warehouses all over the place. It's called progress. Move further away from the city. Do you really think a bunch of people who dislike traffic are going to put all the local businesses out of business? Not in THIS country! No way, no how.

These people do not have a clue! There are not too many trucks on the road. Haven't they heard, there is a driver shortage? Not possible to have both at the same time.

In it's simplest form, 53 is not a toll road and it runs through the town of Joliet. Which happens to have a crap load of warehouses.chico9696 Thanks this.

Please stop going there. Let them starve.

I wish I had more truck traffic past my house. Some nice straight pipe jakes to muffle the sounds of those fart can ricer cars. #### I hate those d###s!
cnsper Thanks this. -
I wish people would not build houses around warehouses. Lets not forget the TOWN approved every building they put up. If the community is unhappy with what they have created then its on them. I'm tired of people trying to use truckers as escape goats. You dumbarses approved it and put it in a residential neighborhood. You can burn with it. Kthx.
RustyBolt, Cottonmouth85 and AModelCat Thank this.
