Honestly the local gigs with swift, jb hunt, etc the mega carriers are not bad at all for someone with 1 year experience. You should make 1000 a week at any of them and if you stick with them for a few years and keep your nose clean you can write your own ticket.

Lwood53 Thanks this. -
Check for an Old Dominion or Fedex Freight around your area too. Old Dominion seems to be thought of pretty highly by many. You'll need doubles and hazmat.

Try Pro Drivers.....I have used them off and on since I got my feet wet in the industry and they have lead to many great local jobs and a few team dedicated runs that paid well and also led to being hired on....
Here is one local to you

And tanker for bulk hazmat totes. There's a new rule regarding them so now all LTLs require the tanker endorsement, as well.CasanovaCruiser and bottomdumpin Thank this.

Try Dunkin Donuts , it's on Triad drive , right across the street from the Penske truck place....if you're going west on 40 , take the Sandy Ridge exit , turn right , the next right is Triad , go about 3/4 of a mile they are on the left. Old GSF terminal.....

Yes, Cardinal has a number of dedicated jobs that may interest you. I worked for them for a while. Decent company and pay. Also, check with Penske.
