Where are your clothes?

I prefer Old English wood polish...



Helps to protect all hard surfaces and keeps that slick shine for at least a couple weeks. Not to mention that lemony fresh scent!

 

My main wardrobe was folded and zipped into a soft-sided square duffel bag that lived on the bunk with me. It was a nice anchor for my covers and dressing was quick because it was right there. My rain/winter/dressy-dress clothes lived in Rubbermaid tubs under my bunk, along with my boots, PSG and tools.

 

I wouldn't know....I only get to see mine when my wife lets me.

 

I do my fiance's laundry, so every time he would go on the road, I would shove a few more of everything in his bag so he never had to do laundry. The only problem was eventually, he started running out of clothes in the house. When he switched trucks a few weeks ago, he was so confused as to why he had so much more stuff in his truck than he remembered putting in it.

I got a chuckle out of this. My wife had a tendency to want to do the same, but eventually we "worked through the issues".

Coming from a background of extensive backwoods experience, my habit is to never take anything that doesn't have a purpose. Back then it was because of weight. Many a time I would spend an hour or more packing and repacking my backpack until it was a manageable weight.

As a driver I take enough clothes to need to do laundry once a week or so, about the time my laundry bag is full I still have enough to go a few more days, but that's it.

There's limited space in a truck. There's food, tools, and supplies to consider. Everything has a place. Everything has a purpose.

From what I have seen you only need one pair of sweat pants and a t shirt, shirt gets too much gravy on it you buy a new one at a TS

 

I had to have surgery on my hand and I bought my first pair of sweatpants since I was a child (as long as there was no metal on them, I was allowed to keep my pants on.) They are so comfortable. I told my boyfriend that I am switching all of my pants to sweats. He shook his head at me.
