Yeah it was..Even when rates were going down and Detention was getting cut you could still make 7-8k a week..Now its anywhere from 3-6k a week gross

 

I remember when the demurge paid more than the freight! The Schlumberger guarantee was the sheeet! Most $$$ I've ever made sitting on the couch.

 

If you could load at Rockdale during the construction, every other place was a snap.

 

I was long gone before that happened but a cousin worked inside. Said it was a cluster.

 

Rockdale has gotren better now.They load out of 2 different Silos now so getting loaded is easier..They dont seem to be as busy as they use to though.

 

I will take a Rockdale load over a freak in Headwaters Oak Grove any time. That place is redonkulous

 

Havent been to Oakgrove or Big Brown in awhile.Im sure I will go back sooner or later

 

Big brown is my favorite back haul for the run I'm on. Have never had to wait on more than a couple trucks.

 

Yeah Big Brown is a Good place to load at.Would run up to Dallas or back into Houston from there

 

Cluster**** + royal PITA = understatement.
