Passed weigh station

Just what is Dot going to say really?

Imagine if one of them actually did stop you.

"You just bypassed the weigh station trucker!"

"But the sign said closed officer..."

"Oh well f---, have a good day."

 

Oh, the times I can count being pulled in at the roadside inspection station at Waldo Canyon (I-25 just south of Santa Fe) at the top of La Bajada Hill when they had the portable scales out and heard almost the exact same story. Being a local guy, I ended up seeing the same 2 or 3 DPS Motor Trans. officers up there almost every time they were there and they always had some funny stories they would tell me while the inspector was checking over the truck.
