Well I bought the Volvo. My first ever real truck purchase from a dealer. D13 engine. 482K. It's the 500HP variety, which is a lot more than I will ever need, as I'm into squeezing fuel. 10 speed OD.

God I hope I can squeeze 6.5 to 7 out of it.

was it big company truck before? D13 engine is slightly different dd series 60. the difference is only gear train location on engine. The parts are little expensive but its easy fixable engine.

It's a former Penske truck. Very well maintained. It spent very little time in the shop. Don't think it was gorilla driven, clutch and gears are pretty tight for 500K. Just hope it gets good MPG.

my Volvo is former penskey too and its been good to me. one think I don't like is penskey trucks hove high rear end ratios so my mileage is not great because I drive fast
