Me: Good morning Doug! What chicken loads ya got laying on your desk there?
Boss: Would you run this Seattle load for me?
Me: Yes Sir I'm on it!
Boss: Hey do you got to pee? Don't worry about it being warm just get some good piss in there..
Me: LoL, I got some good stuff. How many bottles ya want me to fill?
Boss: I got the others covered. Take your time.
Me: LMAO, out the office to the shop bathroom I go.

It was funny. In the end I realized he had a pretty bad meth problem going on. Still don't know how he gets away with what he does.

Your boss is going to be in some deep #### if he gets audited. Companies are supposed to keep logs for six months. If I was you I'd run legal and keep the carbon copy of your logs or find a better company. If you get in a situation, your fault or not, you can bet your boss will toss you under the bus.

Do you like your boss? Do you like your job? Are you paid well? Time to look at risk vs. reward.

    This.

He never kept logs for the old driver. He never drug tested, scheduled inspections, filed for a home terminal address, etc. He just bought a truck and put someone in it!

I'm the new driver and I'm the one going out of my mind to force them into compliance!

I've worked here 4 years and I never knew how close we were to a complete disaster!

Again, there's companies that will set you up to be compliant for not very much money at all.

During an audit it is all about looking like you know what you are doing.

I know this thread has run its course, but if anyone had some insight into what the worst that could happen to the company I work at for being out of compliance, I'm curious.

Would he pay fines, lose carrier status, a strong warning? The guy is almost family as far as I'm concerned..
