O/T was a huge consideration for me when I started looking into LTL work. Luckily I managed to get in at a place that pays it after 40. It isn't right for a company to take advantage of their drivers just because they can get away with not paying OT, or paying only after a ridiculous number of hours. I'd like to see the playing field leveled by getting rid of that loophole.

What kind of bid are you on?
-
I have over a month left.. I like my current bid but I am afraid I won't like my next one..
-
I was forced on an unassigned 9.30 am start......ya get what no one else wants, and make pu's that no one says they can't do...trust me it sucks.
-
How long have you been there?
-
I waited a long time to get my Delmarva run, and that only happened because a guy quit.
I am relieved as can be that we don't do the "rebid" crap here. Our outfit frowns on what they call "the revolving door effect". -
I hear ya. I'm in the same boat, being low on the board. Can't wait to get some new blood under me in spring.rocket237 Thanks this.

not long enough to stay on p/d. but, the job is better than getting 15% taken each week and forced o/t to line the companies pockets.
3 years in may.btw -
I say this once a week!
