    whats going on with the supposed study of the 34 hr/ 2 periods of 1-5 AM foolishness?
    It's sort of disappeared as an issue lately.
    Just wondering if anybody has heard anything about it.

    Still on the drawing boards , last I heard.

    All of the studies were complete with the monitored drivers that volunteered and such and they had begun compounding the data.

    Keep an ear to RoadDog XM146. They talk about these issues fairly frequently.

    p.s. stock up on Vaseline , if the FMCSA has anything to do with it.

    It has already been proved that the 1-5am BS causes an increase of accidents involving trucks. It also leads to more congested parking as everyone tries to be solar powered. It screws the night time team driver who needs a reset... yup, they'll probably shove it down our throats...
