Youre just trying to stir up trouble.

I'm no fan of the megas. Id rather go hungry then work for one.
Ive stated before im not a big fan of most of Capt Zooms humor. But for some crazy reason I read every post of his thread. I think a couple of situations he's not helped himself. But.....for the most part its been an honest open account of what's going on. The good with the bad.

Sliver, Captain Zoom is far too polite to say this, so I will. You, sir, are a screaming idiot with a reading comprehension ability that would embarrass a slow third grader.

Captain Zoom has been very clear about fault in each and every one of the incidents he has offered in this thread. Yes, he has been at fault at times and has stood up and freely ADMITTED to that fault with both his carrier AND us, a bunch of random strangers in a virtual environment.

On the paper roll incident, please inform me (and all the other drivers here, most of whom probably have experience that exceeds yours by DECADES) exactly how you secure the front of a load of rolled paper? Other than the obvious choice of slamming the first two rolls up against the forward bulkhead of the trailer, of course. Since, you know, dry van and temperature controlled trailers ALL have reinforced forward bulkheads for that specific purpose. It's one of the reasons why dry van and reefer trailers are heavier than flatbeds. The only securement a driver is able to put on a load of paper rolls is a few logisitic straps or load loocks on the rear (a joke, at best) and a heart-felt prayer to the deity of your choice that the bloody load DOESN'T shift on you (making paper one of the most dangerous loads a dry van driver can deal with)

As far as the incident with the leaving behind of the Hot Chick, if you were to actually read and UNDERSTAND Captain Zoom's posts you would come to the realization that Heartland/Gordon has come to the conclusion that THEY dropped the ball and are apparently working very hard to ensure no other driver who travels with a passenger (WITH company permission, I'd like to point out, which does open a case for the passenger being in part a responsibility of the company) will have to deal with the same circumstance that the fine Captain and his equally fine partner in life (and most likely crime) handled with patience and a quiet type of style.

    Good day, sir!

Good grief lad enough already zoomie already said you had some salient points, if I didn't know any better I'd think you was just tryin to be a tool and provoke zoom into arguing with you. But you're a grown man so I know that can't be it.

And chum you're not being bashed you're just being called out about your tool-ish behavior. After all, this is a thread designed to express opinions. NOT to childishly keep poking the goat.

I am not a fan of the Mega Carriers.
Capt. Zooms does interest me. I appreciate that he posts the good and bad.
I have had a conversation with Capt.Zoom by private message. The reason I did by private message was I did not want derail the thread. I think Captain Zooms intentions of the thread is to report his experience. And, mix in some humor. That is fine with me and if I choose to be critical or offer advice I will continue to do it by private message out of respect to the thread.
The thread is an interesting story to me. I look forward to more reports from Capt. Zoom.

Had a comment but some of the other readers here did it better than I ever could.

The Wisdom of the Ages says if a man testifies about himself, that testimony is not valid because he has spoken in his own defense. But if another testifies on his behalf, then that testimony is valid, because he has not spoken to save himself.

Thank you folks, for fulfilling that scripture--I've never been nearly as comfortable defending myself as defending someone else.

Tomorrow, we go back to the story. For now, I must meld with the bunk. Hot Chick is already unconscious.

In her own bunk. Which is nice.

As a lawyer might say "you're assuming a fact not in evidence"
