2.0 happened because TTR was having bandwidth issues and closed the original.
So before they did it I started this one and the final post in the other linked to this one. Before thr last update they had those oversized pictures eating bandwidth when it was opened by a member is my understanding.Last edited: Dec 13, 2015

So when did it become a punishable offense to refuse an impossible preassignment right after you receive it. Apparently I can make a 140 mile deadhead through the Cascade Mountain Range, up and over Mt. Hood, and through several towns on a little mountain highway in less then 3 hours to pickup a relay in Portland to make the 0900 2.5 hour lumper unload appointment.
It took 4 hours and 4 different back and forth messages to refuse the load. As punishment they put me inactive until I speak to my DBL tomorrow...
Funny thing is the load wasn't relayed until 18:30. So why was the driver allowed to relay the load without any drivers available... Also how is it somehow my responsibility to deal with the receiver on a late load that I had nothing to do with, when CS can just contact the customer and reschedule the appointment... -
Needless to say, I expressed my displeasure via qualcomm messages and may not be around much longer. I'm half tempted to just deadhead to the Portland OC, park the truck, and visit some friends for a while.
mickimause and scythe08 Thank this. -
Sounds like someone was on a power trip. There shouldn't be a punishment if you can't safely and legally make an appointment time. It sounds like you might have been the "best available" driver, otherwise it doesn't make sense that they assigned it to you. Of course, you should never count on things making sense.oragonads Thanks this.

I still dont get why drivers are sent loads with impossible dispatches with full knowledge that delivery will be made several hours late. It seems that ops is just too lazy to have customer service contact the customer and reschedule an appointment time, so instead they just pawn it off on the drivers. I'm sure the customer would be much happier rescheduling an appointment then having a truck show up late and having to work them in between other appointments.freightwipper Thanks this.
