No I haven't at this point. Not opposed and we do all Maintenace on them and oil seems pretty clean at 25k compared to my older trucks at around 15k

Me ,i like to put a spinner and run the oil around 50 000 miles.Samples were good in the past.
-
Not a bad idea at all. What engine? I would certainly add that to my older trucks to extend oil change intervals
-
no egr action.....cleaner oil...

MX13.But my take on spinners is that they are good for any engine.30y ago we had a truck with a spinner that you could open up.Should have seen what dirt that thing got out off the oil.Was like solid tar. With the modern emmissions engines i think they do a very good job.Change oil and filters together.Maybe Davel could tell us what the Volvo dealers take is on this?

Not anymore, the old truck is gone.EPA10 or Euro 6 with a MX11 now.Strange thing is dealer wants me to do more miles with my oil.Talking about 60 000.

I think i will take a sample around 45 000 and see what the analysis says.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
