Good shop for install???

You can buy one similar to it from Bob cb shop in Pennsylvania at exit 70 off of Interstate 80. And I'm sure if you put in a special request he could probably custom order one for you from Jerry Cash the machinist in Canton Ohio. I have Parts but I had to sell my 30 ton press due to my current divorce situation. So I don't have the tools necessary to build any more at the moment until my divorce is finalized.

 

Another route you could take is to contact Cb Radio Store in Fontana California and order a Big AL antenna. Then when you get it, you could take it apart and replace the insulator with a longer piece that's twice as long and you can wind your own copper coil and build one similar to it and put a longer shaft underneath it and then put shrink-wrap tubing over the whole thing after its all put together and tuned.

 

How long is your antenna itself and from the ground up ?

 

That one was 81 Inches long.

 

Off topic but.... My Connex 3300 is acting up, I have real low power, and with the squelch all the way counter clockwise I get no static, I can only receive super real close talk.
If I remove the case covers and tap on the little metal things, with a black disc in them, it'll power up and act right for a little bit.
Any ideas?
