I'm training people as quick as I can get one trained. And another in. We are just as steady as ever. Will say where I park in Mccamey other companies have been a carousel there. Our company has modified pay structure for new hires, but it's still salary plus bonus for loads over salary pay. Always been here so guess I got used to lease roads there, but mostly south of Pecos not around Orla. I wouldn't change companies now as it slows more last in first out.
Where is everyone currently at?

Never have got used to Hotel costs around here, as far as nothing to do, I agree with that but my family moved with me so at least we can break out and explore on days off.

Left Watford City Sept 30. Pay was cut from 12k/ month to 8k/month in August (not hourly cut, but hours were cut. Forced to a 5/2, 5/3). Sitting on the sidelines, enjoying some time off to see what happens after the first of the year. Good luck everyone.
gdyupgal Thanks this. -

My hubby's old company has called him back twice and they had actually taken a pay cut but now have gone back up so if he went back he would get a dollar more than he was making a few years back. This is out of Kenedy, TX hauling water. His more prior company though is doing horrible and he has maintained connection with a lot of his co-workers and not a single one is still there. He is just chillin as he is doing some local work in San Antonio but he hates the traffic of the city so is gonna start looking again. While he has thought of going back to that old employer the only reason he hasn't is the commute from SA.
He still meets a lot of guys on the road daily and he has a few leads with oilfield companies. So I agree with OP, there is still money out there you just have to do some digging. -
My dad's running a sand can and there still busy, runs up his 70 every wk and hes home every night. Mostly doing Cabot wells. If there still up and running come september when i turn 23 I'm heading over there. Can't beat the money for a company driver around my area. Double what im doing in food service
