Oh China. You keep on pushing these garbage companies to everyone. Western, Carolina, Martin of Carolina, etc, all bad, bad reputations, bad scores, bad everything. Hey but one guy made $800 one week, right?

Sometimes a driver does what he has to do for employment. Not everyone has a halo hovering around their head. I don't discriminate, I try to help everyone that ask a question and couldn't care less about their background.

Watkins-Shepard doesn't have a cdl school. Would be a good company for a few months later after completing cdl school.

I get confused with all this because one min people say Swift sucks, next Western sucks, next May sucks. Sounds like trucking sucks in general lol. I couldn't get on with any decent company because of inconsistent work history. Sure maybe Roehl or Jim Palmer but they wanted contracts and I ain't signing a contract. In any case won't know what trucking is like until I do it and would rather not feel pressured by a contract. Enough to deal with out on the roads.

Every company has cry babies. Just do what you have to do then move on.

Since I'm new to trucking but have always had a passion for it I want to make sure that start out right and not get a bad taste in my mouth I know that's probably too hard to ask but I'm willing to take the risk.
My main concern is my family about being able to pay my bills on time keep food on the table and a roof over their head I was about ready to buy a house until I got laid off of my job because the government is too cheap.
I want to get trained right so I don't have any issues and I'm a hard charger and like to stay motivated. I have not heard too many good things about Swift so I'm looking into Jim Palmer TRUCKING which is about 2 hours from my house.

I'm not worried about staying with the company for a year or two or forever how long it takes to pay off a school and then leaving if I'm not satisfied but I doubt that will happen if I'm treated right and have a paycheck coming in.
