    in Illinois do i need my medical card if i'm 19? and well i'm going to be local since i can't leave the state till i'm 21

    None of us "need" a med card but the law requires it.

    Yes in il you need a medical card weather you are, interstate or intrastate (local).

    YES, you do need a physical regardless... the confusion in this question is caused by IL not requiring you to link the Med certificate to your license, nor present it during exam.
