That is right, you are in sinclair wyoming.
You will wait, or go around, to the south into colorado and chain laws over the passes, or north to casper wy, and down I25 to denver. Temperature has warmed here in casper, and they have the highways passable.

I've got two cops blocking off eastbound to take 287. Boss man says no go for back tracking to 789 to head south. I can't blame him though I got stuck on 140 across Oregon outside lake view so playing it safe. Luckily a Good Samaritan had a horse of a dually and the plow driver jumped in front to to lay sand
tucker Thanks this. -
Well, if YOU own the truck and trailer, it's your call. If you just drive for someone else, i'd let them make the call.

No it's not my rig. I'm still "company"

Well I80 across wyoming is open in both directions for the moment. Sure would not want to be driving in a pack, with less then 2000 ft visibility, and 40 mph winds. But it is open currently. Current conditions at arlington wy.

It's because when the wind blows from the southwest like it usually does, it causes drifts and ice on the eastbound lanes to a greater extent than on the west sideBig_Red and Cranky Yankee Thank this.

Wyoming's closed folks, the wind chain at the state line should have told you so........unless it blew away
