Volvo D12D. How to test EPG?

    I have my head off and am getting it redone due to bad head gasket and have the turbo off to redo the gasket.

    While I have it all off I wanted to know if thee is a way to verify proper epg function?

    yes there is, there is a fitting in the back should be 14 and 18 mil make sure you do not break this fitting cuz it's very hard to find, if you take a blower with a tip just put air in the cylinder once you take the line of and release the air pressure and it should go back to normal position, make sure you try this 5 6 or maybe even 10 times with same result if it gets stuck once just replace the thing better now than when everything is together
