    Here's the alcohol prohibition
    392.5: Alcohol prohibition.

    (a) No driver shall—

    (1) Use alcohol, as defined in § 382.107 of this subchapter, or be under the influence of alcohol, within 4 hours before going on duty or operating, or having physical control of, a commercial motor vehicle; or

    (2) Use alcohol, be under the influence of alcohol, or have any measured alcohol concentration or detected presence of alcohol, while on duty, or operating, or in physical control of a commercial motor vehicle; or

    (3) Be on duty or operate a commercial motor vehicle while the driver possesses wine of not less than one-half of one per centum of alcohol by volume, beer as defined in 26 U.S.C. 5052(a), of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, and distilled spirits as defined in section 5002(a)(8), of such Code. However, this does not apply to possession of wine, beer, or distilled spirits which are:

    (i) Manifested and transported as part of a shipment; or

(ii) Possessed or used by bus passengers.

Gonna skirt the topic for a second to address the issue of carrying on a truck.

#1. The 2nd Amendment is your permit to carry.

#2. Keep it concealed and don't worry about people seeing it.

#3. Smaller "pocket carry" .380's are perfect when loaded with defense rounds.

#4. To hell with any sign that says weapons are banned. Or laws. Or company policies. Smile and go about your business. Criminals don't adhere to the rules, so neither should you when it comes to your safety.

#5. Unless there are metal detectors where you're going, you should be armed. Too much random #### happens these days in random locations. Always be prepared, because guns are like parachutes: If you need one and don't have one, you'll never need one again.

Or you could follow the law:

    6. May I lawfully ship a firearm to myself in a different State?

Any person may ship a firearm to himself or herself in the care of another person in the State where
he or she intends to hunt or engage in any other lawful activity. The package should be addressed to
the owner “in the care of” the out of State resident. Upon reaching its destination, persons other than the owner must not open the package or take possession of the firearm.

Pretty sure security at military bases, prisons, jails, nuclear plants, and other facalities would have no problem finding it.

Not places a hopper or bull rack goes to start.
I can say I've brought it into at least one of the above mentioned places.

Private security firms are a friggin joke.

Sometimes there's pen hands. Sometimes they do more harm than good. 99% driver load/unload.
