    Just wanted to get the dart heads chattering. Wanted to see how everyone was going to be making out for Christmas! Hometime? Gonna be running? Taking a longer than needed break due to short freight?

    I am on georgia-pacific dedicated and we have been running real strong for about the last 4 weeks. I am headed to Hutchins Texas now and then I am getting a load towards Tennessee so I can go home Wednesday and come out the following Tuesday.

    Yeah, I'm on the gp dedicated as well. Wife and daughter, with grandbaby are in Arkansas, so when I get unloaded in Madison, AL tomorrow, I'll be heading that way.

    No, not super south. I'm on the gp/target dedicated. It's more gp than target, but if there's a target load close, I may get lucky enough to drag it. I started Oct 2014. Not a bad gig as long as they keep you pre-planned out, which my planner is decent, considering he's an 8 to 5'er and just wants to get in and get out. But overall, I can't complain. It's a business, and just like any job, you have to work hard. Don't be a truck stop cowboy, keep the wheels turning, keep the left door closed, and this leasing business ain't a bad business!

    How is it over there at Dart, considering a change? I'm business minded and like money but how are the runs and the money side of the house? I did an application and hearing how the trucks are spec'd and a lot of complaints,a little nervous. Was told basically all that was available in my area was OTR no biggie for me did that for 2 years at my last company before I changed company and went regional. So I thought I would ask around as I don't see many Darts. A little background on me spent 13 years in the Army and my job their was trucking 88M, then after getting out I spent two years dry van, and been pulling the reefer for about 9 months now. So I'm looking for constructive information and not bashing because I only got a few years under my belt. Just want to support my family but I want to do it more comfortably with a lil less restriction and micromanagement. Thanks for your time to whomever decides to enlighten me.
