I have the understanding that when freight is tight they will limit the number of ICs. It is possible that you are on a "hold" due to what Schneider is seeing as a slow down in the next 3-6 months. It isn't always what is going on presently that they look at but the future. Historically the first part of the year is tight on freight. They balance the number of drivers needed to the business. ICs are a variable commodity even though we make up a large % of the fleet. I agree with ew2108 posting above. They don't want to loose a company driver.

Oh well, I got an email from SNF today saying that SNI had approved me and they're moving forward with my lease app. Still no word from SNI, though. It took just over a month to this point.

Asphalt Anarchy and dclerici1 Thank this.

There was a message recently from Michelle Becker on her 12/8/2015 Quarterly Update that there is currently about 2,400 IC's with SNI Choice. She said they will be limiting new leases per week to meet needs in relation to freight capacity and staffing.

Did you try to resort the list by latest on top? That's the way I found the message.

Finally received the much cited message. No mention of an actual cap on the # of ICs. Only that they will try to balance the amount of new ICs with demands for capacity.
