I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Kidding aside, my unit does fine except the humidifier/heater is out. Gonna have to go on line for a replacement since the respiratory therapists have some kind of racket going and they won't sell me so much as a piece of headgear without a big to-do (seriously--required/mandatory appointment with the on staff RT and their neurologist has to see the printout from a sleep study done no more than 24 hrs prior--for HEAD GEAR! At like $150/hr! What am I gonna need for a machine, a Ninja Death Challenge? Four different medical supply stores gave me the same run around!).

Thank goodness Walgreens has stated carrying CPAP machines and supplies at reasonable prices. All I need is the Rx since the machines are auto adjust.

 

Saw a guy with a beautiful cane today. Chinese White Oak (he said). Nice and stout, my forefinger and thumb circled it perfectly. J-hook handle and simple ferrule tip.

Of course, he wouldn't sell it to me. He said he paid off a friend of his daughter's to make it for him in wood shop class. That never occurred to me. I can probably find someone to make me a cane to my specs if I can find the right wood. Maybe some Cocobolo or waxwood....

--They still have wood shop?

 

Was going to call in the fifth wheel release today but I think I'll do it tomorrow, when I'm on my lunch at a T/A. That issue aside, so far this truck has been pretty good. Aside from the concrete filed driver's seat. I've got a bad case of iron butt every afternoon around five.

Yeah, found them while searching on line, fantastic source. I'm pretty old school and honestly didn't think about getting my stuff on line since I only like to go home every few months, but then again I don't need CPAP stuff that often either. Y'all have solved my CPAP problem. Big plus is the prices are phenomenal.

 

I'm hip. I just don't want to do another sleep study right now, although I might be due for one--want to wait till after the first of March when I take a few days off. Then I can do everything at once and get whatever new equipment I need. Ordered some headgear and cleaner through Amazon which will be waiting for me when I get through Indy in a few weeks.
