Question about delivering in Chicago

Portillos makes the best dogs, beef, Polish. Why ? It's consistent at all their locations. Sorry Johnnies.

 

Johnnies only has 2 locations and both are good. Portillos is still very good, but I think since dick portillo sold the chain quality went down a little. I think portillos has the best overall menu including their barnelis locations, but johnnies has the best beef and gene and judes hotdogs are the best. The problem is they are not chains and they both have very limited menus.

 

When I lived in the West Loop my favorite thing to do was go to Maxwell Street Polish by UIC and get their burgers and beef hot dogs. Cheap and full of onions.

 

Are they still there? I forgot about that place. I went to UIC for a year and went there all the time.

 

Still there. For like $2 burgers and fries. Fries suck but everything else on their menu is good. Open 24/7/365. My goto spot when drunk/high back in the day. lol

Google is funny. I decided to see if there really was a Greater Chicago Beef Council. There's not but the "related searches were, to say the least, odd.

 

Well seeing this thread is turning into the Food Channel, I heard that there is a new Portillos opening up in the Milwaukee area
