    I don't see why not. You should take a trip down to the DMV and ask about why hasn't it been updated. Are you sure you turned in all the paper work? I pull a flatbed for system

    Yea it's the dl170 form I turned it in Nov 6th right after I passed my drivers test at the school.

    Well they have till the 1st of Jan to send it that's when the paper one expires

    This is the major downside of living in a deferred issue state. Texas, where I first got my CDL is the exact same way. I've come to appreciate Oklahoma being an instant issue state.

    I live in Kansas. When it comes time for driver's license renewal, they give you a temporary paper license, which has an expiration date of 2 months, (not totally sure), after issue. Within that time frame, your regular driver's license is sent to you in the mail.

    Yea I know that but company's won't accept that that's the sucks part about it

    If you are currently working for a trucking company and your CDL expires, will the trucking company hold your job for you, while you are waiting for the hard copy of your mew CDL?

    If the answer is "NO", that would put the truck driver in the position of having to reapply for his or her old job, or apply for another job at another trucking company.
