Where is this? Location for LTL determines a lot of your pay Unions etc etc..

I'll give 2 examples, one union and one non - ABF and Old Dominion. Granted, that's at the top rate with 3,000 mile/week bids, but it definitely happens at both companies.

Most top tier LTL's are at 60+ cents/mile, plus accesorial pays.

    rodknocker and blairandgretchen Thank this.

    Old dominion
    FedEx Freight
    R&L
    ABF (Union)
    YRC (Union)

Some of the top LTL companies. They're nationwide so check for terminals near you. UPS is another but you'll have a hard time walking into a driving job, it has been done though.

May, 2016 will give me 4 years with a CDL. Clean MVR, 2 years with my current company. This year (2015) I grossed $82k. Northeast local / regional, with occasional NYC deliveries. Work M-F, home nightly, 1-2 Saturdays / month if I ask for them. 1-2 scheduled overnight layovers per month, paid extra, hotel paid by company. 40-55 on-duty hours per week. Yes, I fingerprint most weekday loads. Saturday loads are no-touch or drop / hook.

    rodknocker and HardRoc Thank this.

Ashley furniture does between 60-90k+ Home weekends. Great equipment and benefits and no overbearing micromanagement.

Depends on division and how hard you want to get after it. truckload d/h 60-75k+ or LTL tailgating stops 70-90k+

Even the lazy guys here can do 60k
