I guess I'm "technically" working. I'm at my parents place in Jersey under a load that dosent need to be in Ardmore, Ok until Monday so I'll leave Saturday.

It's my ex's Christmas with the kids so I'll take my time off starting the 31st and we will celebrate Christmas on New Years Day and I'll go back out on the 5th

 

I-80 was shut down for truck traffic from the Nevada state line since early this morning up until about now. Traffic cams still show horrible conditions though. I parked the truck at the Loves in Fernley NV (i live nearby) and called in and told the operator what's up. One preassignment was removed and the next preassignment appointment was moved to 11:00 on the 26th, and my current load doesn't need to be relayed in Sacramento until Sunday so it seems I'll be home from now until the early morning Saturday.

 

Heard something about a 20 car pileup out there
